Marin Conservation League and Samuel Taylor Park
Nona Dennis, President Marin Conservation League — published October 01, 2009
I read with interest Darla Hillard's story of returning to Devil's Gulch in 1994 with her Aunt Ginny in search of Uncle Van's secret cabin ("Return to Devil's Gulch," July-September 2009). The Marin Conservation League is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and in commemoration, open space historian Barry Spitz is working on an illustrated book, to be published later this year. The acquisition of Camp Taylor is just one piece of the league's early conservation history. Learn more at marinconservationleague.org.
