The 2011/2012 coho season is upon us! With the first hard rains in the watershed comes the beginning of spawning season and SPAWN's naturalist led creekwalks that explore the majesty of the Lagunitas Creek Watershed. Join our trained naturalists to tour the Lagunitas Watershed and learn all about the ecology of our native population of Coho salmon and the watershed in which they reside. Anything goes in these walks. Learn about the salmon and their habitat, birds and their calls, the natural history of the watershed, even find salamanders!
The Creekwalks calendar is now available. Space is limited and registration is required. Cost: FREE for SPAWN members, just a $35 minimum donation for one year. Non-members: We ask a $10 for adults, $4 for children donation. No one turned away for lack of funds
