If you appreciate wilderness and big open space, you’re likely to fall in love with Iceland. Its beauty is extraordinary–majestic mountains, massive fjords, stunning glaciers, steamy lava fields, lush valleys, black sand beaches, and waterfalls galore. Join Jeff Davis, award-winning PBS producer, documentary filmmaker, and travel/editorial photographer, for a photographic slide show of his four-week adventure exploring Iceland’s otherworldly volcanic landscapes. Highlights include images of the multicolored rhyolite mountains of the Landmannalaugar region in the southern Highlands; Jokulsarlon, the country’s largest glacier lagoon; the iconic Skogafoss waterfall; and more. As Jeff takes you on a tour–by foot, car, and four-wheel-drive vehicle–of Iceland’s stunning coasts and wild open interior, he’ll share travel options, as well as tips on photographic opportunities and techniques, to help you make the most of your visit to this and other remarkable wilderness destinations.
