Tu B'shvat Volunteer Project
Sunday, February 05, 2012
10:30 AM
to
1:30 PM
Please join the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network (SPAWN) and EcoJews Of the Bay for a special Tu B'shvat volunteer project to restore habitat for the endangered coho salmon in San Geronimo Creek. Join us as we restore salmon habitat at Roy’s Pools at the San Geronimo Valley Golf Course. We will be planting native trees and shrubs along the banks of San Geronimo Creek. Native plants stabilize stream banks and preserve water quality within the streams that the coho salmon rely on for habitat. Baby fish need lots of cold, clean water so let's make sure we get the creek ready for when they hatch!
