Winter Birding at Heron's Head Park- FREE

San Francisco Nature Education (SFNE) sponsors these annual birding tours at Heron's Head Park, led by High School interns. Equipped with powerful spotting scopes, the interns will lead tours beginning at 10am, 10:30, 11:00am and 11:30.
Tours last about one hour. We are seeing incredible waterfowl including Eurasian Wigeon, Clapper Rail and Harlequin Duck. Come out and see for yourself and learn the natural history of this beautifully restored wetlands.
